Birthday

So the weekend came really quick.... I was at wits end because I have yet to organise my niece's bday present, not because I am a certified procrastinator but because I absolutely ran out of ideas for her present! Anyway... I had this idea that since it is summer why dont I make her a summer gear... Didnt have much time given that I thought about this on Fri and her party was on Sunday. So on Sat, I got up early and went to Lincraft at Southland.. got the most girlie-colored yarn I can find and quickly got back home to start on the project, and a day later managed to produce a summer hat and matching draw string purse.

I will post the makings of... in a subsequent thread once I have downloaded all the pics onto the computer.

New blog?

Hello all..
I have been thinking about starting a blog a lot lately.. i know, i know... what can I say? jumping on the bandwagon while I still can!
So anyway, I decided to do something about it today.. and wa la! I've started a blog! Now, I need to start posting (if I can be bothered doing so... sigh). All the negativity aside... I'll look around for pics that I can upload for your viewing pleasure. Unfortunately though, as suggestive as the name of this blog may sound, its mostly on my knitting and cooking projects.. regardless, I hope you enjoy my posts and feel free to use any information on this blog (with the appropriate acknowledgement of the source of course!)
